Prof Dr M A Alim is a highly renowned urological surgeon in Bangladesh who completed his MBBS degree from DMC in 1996. Following his graduation, he pursued advanced specialization & earned his MS degree in Urology from BMU in 2006. He gained extensive international experience through advanced urological training in the United States, Germany, India, & Pakistan.
Dr. Alim began his distinguished urological career at Dhaka Medical College & Hospital, where he served for 3 years. He then dedicated his expertise to the Sylhet region for 15 years, starting from February 2011, gaining vast clinical experience as the Former Professor & Head of the Department of Urology at SOMCH. Committed to advancing specialized medical care, he joined the National Institute of Kidney Diseases & Urology (NIKDU), where he currently serves as the Professor & Head of the Urology Department.
